USTU in a new format: an updated website and digital services

We are building a new-generation union — and today we took the next step: the updated USTU website is live.

What already works

• Join the union online — a short application on the Join page, no queues and no paperwork.
• Confidential reports — if a problem comes up at sea or ashore that you can't raise with your employer directly, use the secure form. Anonymity is an option.
• For shipowners — a clear cooperation and collective-agreement framework on the shipowners page.

Why this matters

The maritime industry has long lived digitally — and a union should live the same way. Our principle is simple: anything that can be done from a phone in five minutes should be doable from a phone in five minutes.
